75mm x 5mm x 25m Isocheck Acoustic Isolation Strip is used to enhance acoustic insulation and impact sound transmission in masonry, steel and timber partition and separating walls. The strips are made from a cross linked Isopoli foam and an adhesive backing, which allows the strips to remain in place when refurbishment work is in progress. It is especially designed to reduce impact sound transmission in walls and floors, deriving from footsteps, light switches and door closing, with no adverse affect to the wall structure stability.

The isolating strips can be installed direct to timber joists, when the adhesive backing is applied to the timber joists joints top, they can be used for insulating partition or separating walls in a timber frame system, steel partition or separating floor over a timber or concrete floor, timber stud wall over timber floorboards or concrete floor, timber stud wall over timber joists or steel or timber stud wall edges.
