Isomass Acoustic Systems

Airborne Noise Pollution is generated from speech, television or radio and from a non-mechanical activity. Airborne noise will travel through a floor, wall and ceiling structure. It is important that the separating structure is of sufficient and correctly placed mass and volume, for the airborne noise to be reduced.

Impact Noise Pollution is generated from mechanical activity -- from walking or moving furniture, for example. This noise pollution is best treated at the source -- a correct floating acoustic floor system needs to be selected so as to ensure the correct dynamic stiffness to limit the noise from moving to the fabric of the building. Isomass Acoustic Systems offer excellent solutions to both sound pollution problems.

Flanking Sound Transmission occurs when sound is transmitted from one space to another indirectly, that is, from floors to walls, where they meet. Without correct flanking acoustic insulation, the sound can bypass a separating floor by travelling within the surrounding walls. Isomass Acoustic Systems offer solutions to forego this problem.
