Celotex FR5150 is one of the available dimensions of the Celotex FR5000 PIR insulation boards made from polyisocyanurate rigid core and faced on both side with low emissivity aluminum foils for improved thermal performance. The product is applicable to different types of constructions including walls, floors and roofs, but is especially designed to suit pitched roof (both over and between the rafters) or other constructions where significant fire resistance is of importance due to the fact that is has A+ rating and a Class 0 fire performance throughout the entire construction. The boards have zero ODP and low GDP values, all making them highly environmentally friendly. It is advised to take into account the design and location of the roof, prior to determining required fixings. When adding the boards over the rafters, a breather membrane should be installed over insulation, while when installing the boards between the rafters, a vapour control barrier should be added to the underside of the rafters.

APPLICATION

Celotex FR5150 is applicable in walls, floors and pitched roofs applications.

Celotex FR5150 has the following characteristics:

  • Especially designed to meet the requirements of different constructions including, walls, floors and pitched roofs;
  • Applicable to both existing and new buildings;
  • Providing great thermal performance, with lambda values of only 0.021 W/mK, and better U values when compared to alternative PIR insulation boards;
  • Offering substantial fire resistance, since achieving an A+ rating and a Class 0 fire performance;
  • Vey environmentally friendly, due to the zero ODP and low GDP values;

CERTIFICATION

The product has the following certifications:

  • It is in accordance with BS 476;
