50mm Kingspan Kooltherm K10 FM Soffit Insulation Board (pack of 6)

Kingspan Kooltherm K10 FM Soffit Insulation Board is a rigid insulation board used for structural ceilings, consisting of a rigid phenolic high performance and CFC/HCFC–free insulation core, which is resistant to petrol and most alkalis, dilute acids and mineral oils but can be sensitive to some methyl ethyl ketone based adhesives and solvents. The core is covered with tissue based facing on the upper side and a composite foil as the lower facing. The product is manufactured with a 0 ODP and low GWP blowing agent, which makes it very eco-friendly. Depending on the conditions it is used under and the surrounding structure, the board can have practically indefinite life span which makes it highly cost effective. The boards offer great thermal performance due to the fact that they are not influenced by air movement or vapour passage, preventing cold bridges from forming.

APPLICATION

Kingspan Kooltherm K10 FM Soffit Insulation Board is used for structural ceilings, including:

INSTALLATION

Insulation boards can be fixed directly to concrete soffits with the use of adequate insulation fasteners, while they can be fixed to timber battens with the use of shot-fire fixings, for example. For fixing the boards onto proprietary grid systems, additional advice should be sought. The product can be cut with toothed saw or a sharp knife, where accurate trimming is of great importance.
