ARC T-Barrier can be installed as the masonry work progresses, requiring only a friction fit within the cavity. Accuracy of masonry work is essential to ensure no gaps exist around the barrier. ARC T-Barrier is used where building regulations require the use of a mineral wool closer for acoustic insulation purposes. It provides an effective edge seal around the party wall cavity, helping to achieve a zero U-value.
