Timber Floor Acoustic Systems

Isocheck 15T, 24T and 28T are specifically created to be used on traditional timber floors to reduce impact sound transmission through it. The sound deadening material used in these boards is 6mm Isofiba layer, and the rigid board on Isocheck 24T and 28T is made of P5 V313 moisture resistant chipboard. Moisture-resistant chipboard board is composed of wood chips and a moist-resistant type of adhesive. The board isn’t waterproof but resists a humid climate.  The Isocheck 15T board has a moisture resistant medium density fibreboard. These systems can be used in domestic bathrooms and kitchens without special precautions to carry standard domestic loads.


Isocheck 32T consists of 6mm reconstituted acoustic chip foam and 4mm Isofiba, bonded to 22mm P5 V313 moisture resistant chipboard. Thses boards are usually used to reduce impact sound transmission through a timber joisted floor where both the floor boards and the ceiling have been removed.

Isocheck 37T consists of 10mm reconstituted acoustic chip foam and the added isolation of a 5mm Isofiba layer, bonded to 22mm P5 V313 moisture resistant chipboard.
