How to Use

  • Ensure the substrate is clean, dry, and free from any loose particles, grease, or other contaminants.
  • Dampen the surface with clean water, but avoid creating any standing water.
  • Pour the required amount of clean water into a suitable mixing container.
  • Gradually add the Ceresit CT29 powder, stirring continuously with a low-speed electric mixer until a smooth, lump-free consistency is achieved.
  • Allow the mixture to stand for 5 minutes, then re-stir briefly before use.
  • Apply the Ceresit CT29 mixture to the prepared surface using a steel trowel or suitable plastering tool.
  • Work the material into any surface irregularities, ensuring a smooth, even finish.
  • For larger areas, apply the product in multiple thin layers, allowing each layer to dry completely before applying the next.
  • The recommended thickness for each layer is between 1-5 mm.
  • Allow the applied Ceresit CT29 to dry completely, which typically takes 24-48 hours depending on ambient conditions.
  • Once dry, the surface can be lightly sanded to remove any minor imperfections.
  • The finished surface is now ready for the application of decorative coatings or other desired finishes.
