EWI-333 Silicone Silicate Primer is a deep-penetrating primer used to prepare substrate surfaces to create an artificial key prior to applying silicone and silicone silicate renders. It is a water-based primer containing acrylic polymers, quartz aggregate, pigments and enhancers and reduces the absorptive capacity of the substrates and aids the adhesion of the render. EWI-333 doesn't compromise breathability of the surface and helps to give a long lasting finish.

- Usage: approx. 0.2-0.3 kg/m2 (depending on substrate structure and absorbency.
APPLICATION
- All substrates must be stable, even and clean.
- Remove all unstable (dull sounding) plaster from the substrate.
- All uneven surfaces should be levelled out using the EWI-260 Levelling Mortar.
- Mix the contents thoroughly before use.
- Do not dilute with water or any other product.
- Apply using a brush or roller.
- The primed surface is allowed to dry for 24 hours.
- Work must not be carried out during rain or snow, in strong winds and in direct sunlight without special protection to limit exposure to weather conditions.
- Recently rendered coats must be protected against rain, frost and over-rapid drying.
