PSC 4ECO 250T BASIC - Insulating Primer for Metal Surfaces - 18 Litres Can

PSC 4ECO 250T BASIC is a highly efficient non-toxic, environmentally friendly, energy-saving and flexible insulation primer for insulating and sealing metal surfaces. PSC 4ECO 250T BASIC primer can be used on all types of steel, aluminum, non-ferrous metals, metal roofs, metal tanks, pipes, valves, various industrial equipment. It can also be applied directly to a corroded but stable surface. PSC 4ECO 250T BASIC primer with excellent resistance to corrosion and water condensation. The coating is environmentally friendly and abrasion resistant. It has excellent resistance to corrosion, condensation and C4 and C5 chemical environments. Supplied in plastic cans of 18 litres. Colour white.

Note: Cannot be used on PE, HDPE, PP, PTFE and other plastics.

Consumption per 1 m2 (one coat on all suitable surfaces with a perfectly flat surface)

• At a thickness of 0.10 mm: 0.12 litres/1m2
  
• At a thickness of 0.15 mm: 0.18 litres/1m2
• At a thickness of 0.20 mm: 0.24 litres/1 m2

APPLICATION

• Intended as a primer for all types of steel, aluminum, non-ferrous metals, metal roofs, metal tanks, pipes, valves, various industrial equipment

INSTALLATION

• All surfaces must be clean and free from dirt (dust, dirt, oil and grease) and free from rust,
• A wire brush, sandpaper or sandblasting is recommended to clean the metal,
• Smooth surfaces should be mechanically roughened.
• Roofs should be washed with water under pressure or sandblasted,
• Remove old coatings and any unstable elements,
• In case of fungus, use appropriate fungicide preparations,
• Can be diluted with water before use,
• The amount of water used for dilution should not exceed 0.3l per 18 litre bucket,
• Mix with a mechanical mixer at low speed (up to 150 rpm) for 3-5 minutes and for 5-7 minutes with manual mixing,
• Do not apply the product in the rain,
• The temperature of the surroundings and the painted surface should be between +5 and +25 Centigrade,
• Relative air humidity should be below 80%.
