50mm Knauf Rocksilk RS60 Universal Insulation Slab is a high-performance mineral wool insulation product suitable for a variety of applications. Manufactured from rock mineral wool using Knauf's unique bio-based ECOSE Technology binder, it provides excellent thermal and acoustic insulation properties. The mineral wool construction offers higher levels of sound absorption and reduction than other mainstream insulants. The slab has a higher density and a good thermal conductivity, helping to improve the energy efficiency of buildings and reduce heating and cooling costs. Knauf Rocksilk RS60 is non-combustible with Euroclass A1 reaction to fire classification, and the rock mineral wool has a melting temperature of over 1000°C to provide longer periods of fire resistance than other mainstream insulants. Knauf Rocksilk RS60 is also resistant to mould, mildew, and vermin, ensuring long-lasting performance and durability.
