225mm Ancon Teplo-BF-1 Wall Tie - Heavy Duty Type 1

225mm Ancon Teplo-BF-1 Wall Tie is a smart black heavy duty composite wall tie manufactured from pultruded basalt fibres with a thermal conductivity of 0.7 W/mK, which helps to prevent heat escape from the building. The Teplo-BF-1 has specialised moulded safety ends which offer improved buildability and mortar bond strength. The enhanced bond makes it ideal for use in slow drying lime mortars. The Teplo-BF-1 range is BBA approved and can be used in line with NHBC standards. Heavy duty tie suitable for most building sizes and types. Not very flexible and not recommended for applications where there is expected to be excessive differential movement between leaves. This tie can be used at any height. Recommended design embedment of the tie is between 62.5mm and 75mm in each leaf.
