10mm Siniat BluClad Board

Siniat BluClad is a medium density fibre reinforced calcium silicate board which has been formulated without inorganic fibre. Available in a standard 10mm thickness, it is off-white in colour and has a smooth surface on the front face and textured on the reverse. The smooth face is for painting and the textured for thin coat polymeric renders. It is pre-treated with a silicone water repellent on both faces. This reduces water uptake and enhances the compatibility with the coating system and may eliminate the need for further priming. CHARACTERISTICS

• Weather resistance - the systems are suitable for external use.
• Strength and stability - the systems have adequate resistance to impact damage and cracking.
• Performance in relation to fire - the board has a Class A2-s1,d0 rating in accordance with EN 13501-1 and can be regarded as a non-combustible material.
• Moisture resistant.
• Durability - the systems, applied over the board, will perform satisfactorily for a period in excess of 30 years.
• BBA certified.

CERTIFICATES

• BluClad is a material of limited combustibility, rated as Class 0 to Building Regulations, and rated as Class 1 Surface Spread of Flame to BS 476: Part 7: 1987.
• BluClad is resistant and repellent to the effects of moisture. It passes water tightness test to BS 4624:1981: Clause 15.
• BluClad shows No loss of performance after 100 cycles +/-20C, at 40% moisture content which gives it Class B to EN 12467: 2000 Classification.
