Unvented EWI Systems
Explore our selection of Unvented EWI Systems, including the most popular Insulated Render systems.
Unvented External Wall Insulation Systems (EWI) involve fixing the insulation to the building's exterior,
and the protective, weatherproof finishing layer is then installed straight onto the insulation, forming a continuous barrier with no cavity,
creating a continuous thermal layer that eliminates cold spots and ensures a thermal bridge-free facade
The final weather barrier is provided by a robust, aesthetically pleasing topcoat, such as flexible, thin coat render:
- Silicone
- Acrylic
- Silicate
- Mineral
or with Brick or Stone Slips or Tiles.
Types of insulation used in those systems:
- fire-resistant Rock Wool
- cost-effective EPS Polystyrene (white or grey)
- highly efficient Phenolic
- water-resistant XPS Polystyrene (usually below DPC level)
