GypWall Single Frame is a lightweight, non‑loadbearing internal partition system built around a single layer of Gypframe metal studs and tracks. It is one of British Gypsum’s most versatile wall systems, offering a reliable balance of fire resistance, acoustic performance, impact durability, and height capability for a wide range of building types. Designed for speed, efficiency, and consistent performance, the system is suitable for both new‑build and refurbishment projects across residential, commercial, educational, and healthcare environments.

Typical Construction

A standard GypWall Single Frame partition generally includes:

• Gypframe studs (e.g., 48mm, 70mm, or 92mm) fixed into Gypframe tracks
• One or two layers of plasterboard each side, depending on performance requirements
• Optional cavity insulation (such as Isover Acoustic Partition Roll) to improve sound insulation
• Thistle MultiFinish skim for a smooth, durable surface
