12.5mm Gyproc SoundBloc MR is a high‑density acoustic plasterboard with added moisture‑resistant properties, designed to improve sound insulation in areas where humidity may be present. It combines enhanced noise‑reducing performance with water‑repellent additives, making it suitable for use in bathrooms, kitchens, utility rooms, and other moisture‑prone spaces within British Gypsum systems. Available only in tapered edge.

CHARACTERISTICS

• Enhanced acoustic performance thanks to a higher‑density core designed to reduce airborne sound transmission.
• Moisture‑resistant (MR) formulation, suitable for areas with intermittent humidity.
• Classified as Type D, H1 to BS EN 520, meaning controlled density for acoustic performance and water‑repellent properties.
• Blue face paper with green reverse, making identification easy on site.
