75mm Hush Slab Sound Absorber is a high-density acoustic mineral wool slab designed to reduce airborne sound transmission through separating floors, ceilings, and walls. It is suitable for both new build and refurbishment projects, offering reliable performance across domestic, commercial, and industrial applications. It is manufactured from non-combustible inorganic rock. It is produced using renewable energy and sustainable raw materials. It is A1 non-combustible, compliant with UK Building Regulations. Hush Slab is rot-proof, odourless, non-hygroscopic, and resistant to fungi, mould, bacteria, and vermin.

CHARACTERISTICS

  • Comprises high-density mineral fibre, produced from inorganic rock.
  • It is simple to cut and install.
  • Reduces airborne sound transmission through internal and separating floors, ceilings, and walls.
  • Provides excellent acoustic performance as part of a recommended sound insulating system.
  • Class A1non-combustible material as defined in all UK and Ireland Building Regulations.
  • Will not encourage the growth of fungi, mould, or bacteria.
  • Does not sustain vermin.
  • Is rot-proof, odourless, and completely non-hygroscopic.
  • Supports compliance with Building Regulations Part E (England & Wales), Section 5 (Scotland), and Part G (Northern Ireland).
