PlastiClad Aluminium H style Vertical Joint AL/68 - For Any 8mm Panel is a high-performance connecting profile used to join two cladding panels on a continuous flat run. Its name is derived from its cross-section, which forms a perfect "H" shape, providing two deep, back-to-back channels to receive the panel edges.
This trim is extruded from high-grade aluminium and is distinguished by the manufacturer’s rigorous finishing process:
- Made from 6063 - T6 Aluminium.
- Unlike many standard trims on the market, Plasticlad ensures a high quality and durable finish by applying a polyester powder coating to all its aluminium profiles and fixings. This process provides a tougher, longer-lasting surface than standard paint or anodising, offering exceptional resistance to scratching, fading, and chemical degradation.
- The trim consists of a central spine with two identical flanges. This creates two secure pockets that completely encase the cut edges of the cladding panels. Unlike "lap" joints, the H-style is perfectly symmetrical, making it ideal for large-format flat panels where a balanced, architectural look is desired.
- Available in 28 RAL colours.
- All stock powders are 80 – 85% gloss value also known as full gloss.
