Undercut Anchor for 7mm Embedment for Cladding Panels - 555-020-804 - pack of 50

Pack Quantity: 50
Depth: 7

Undercut Anchor for 7mm Embedment is a specialised mechanical fixing designed for the high-end "secret fix" installation of thin cladding panels, typically High-Pressure Laminate (HPL), ceramic, or natural stone. The undercut anchor relies on a precise "undercut" geometry drilled into the rear of the panel. This allows for a completely tension-free attachment that provides immense pull-out strength even in very thin materials.

CHARACTERISTICS

  • Manufactured from A4 (316) stainless steel to provide the highest level of corrosion resistance, making it suitable for even the most demanding coastal environments.
  • Installed entirely on the rear of the panel, it allows for a "clean" facade with no visible fixing heads or rivets on the decorative face.
  • The anchor expands into the wider base of the undercut hole. Because it does not rely on friction or expansion pressure against the hole walls, it eliminates the risk of cracking or delaminating thin or brittle cladding materials.
  • Specifically engineered for thin panels (typically 8mm or 10mm). This shallow depth ensures a secure mechanical bond without the risk of the anchor "telegraphing" (showing a bump or shadow) on the front of the panel.
