12.5mm Marmox Shower Niche - 200mm x 400mm (External size - 300mm x 500mm)

Marmox Shower Niche is comprised of an extruded polystyrene core coated on either side with a thin but robust layer of fibreglass reinforced polymer concrete. It is an elegant way to provide extra space for small shower items. Marmox Shower Niche is fixed to the wall usually on a frame, so that the front lip of the niche is flush with the Marmox Multiboard on the wall. The joints between the shower niche and the Multiboard are sealed together with Marmox Waterproof Tape.

INSTALLATION

• Slide the shelf into the desired position.
• Use a pencil and mark a straight line to indicate the final shelf position.
• Screw through the sides of the niche in the areas that are in line with the shelf 
• Make sure shower niche is screwed fully into the shelf but do not over tighten.
• For a watertight seal, use Marmox MSP360 Adhesive & Sealant’ or Marmox Waterproofing Tape.
• Position the niche into the desired area, between the studs (at 800 centres).
• Use a minimum of a 50mm screw and large washer in all of the corners.
