13mm Hush Multi Panel is a high‑mass, gypsum‑based acoustic board developed to upgrade the sound insulation of separating walls and ceilings. It is ideal where space is tight yet robust noise control is needed. Its compact format also lends itself to easier manual handling on site. Hush Multi Panel has been used as part of a decoupled ceiling system on resilient bars or suspended ceilings. It has also been used to great effect in reducing flanking transmission as part of a wall lining system. When over‑boarded with a single 15 mm fire‑rated plasterboard it can achieve a one‑hour fire resistance, offering both acoustic and fire compliance.
CHARACTERISTICS
- High-density gypsum-based board.
- Unfinished, suitable for over-boarding or direct decoration.
- Can achieve up to 1 hour fire resistance when over-boarded with 15mm fire-rated plasterboard.
- Reduces transmission through separating walls and ceilings.
