• The flexible hinge allows the rigid wings to open or close to suit any angle, making it an absolute lifesaver for non-standard corners and splayed reveals.
• Rigid perforated wings provide a solid, flat edge that is easier to fix mechanically (using staples or adhesive). The perforations ensure the render bond is deep and structural.

INSTALLATION

• This bead can be fixed using dabs of adhesive, staples, or specialized clout nails. Because the wings are rigid, you can get it perfectly vertical and secure before you even touch your trowel.
• Ensure the plaster or render is pushed firmly through the perforations. This is what creates the mechanical lock. If the material only sits on top of the wings, the bead could eventually pull away.
• A pair of sharp tin snips or a fine-toothed saw will give you a clean, burr-free cut. This is much safer and faster than using a grinder on metal beads.
• Once the plaster or render is dry, the small visible portion of the PVC nose can be painted over along with the wall, disappearing completely into the finish.
