25kg Mapei Prosfas - Water-based, Solvent-free Consolidator for Cementitious Substrates

25kg Mapei Prosfas is a water-based, solvent-free consolidator with high penetration properties for cementitious substrates for consolidation with unstable surfaces or with poor mechanical characteristic. It has high penetration properties as it is a blend of silicates in a low viscosity water solution. It can penetrate to a depth of several centimetres and when dried, it improves the cohesion of cementitious surfaces.

• For deep consolidation of cementitious substrates with an unstable surface or with poor mechanical characteristics,
• For consolidation of cementitious screeds which tend to have a crumbly surface,
• For impregnation and as anti-dust primer on cementitious surfaces.
  

• Water-based, solvent-free,
• Ready-to-use and need not be diluted,
• Deep penetrating,
• Improves cohesion of cementitious surfaces.

• The substrate must be dry, clean, free of oils, varnish and other oily matter,
• Pour the Prosfas on the surface with a sprinkler or pump,
• Distribute it evenly with a broom, brush, or a roller until it is completely absorbed,
• Highly porous substrates may need more than one coat, in which case wait until the previous coat is dry.
• To remove excess sprinkle sand over the last coat of Prosfas and remove the excess sand when dry.
• Flooring can be installed after surface is dry,
• Drying time varies with the amount of product used, and ambient temperature and humidity.
• The recommended application temperature is from +5C to +35C.
