35mm Actis Boost'R Hybrid Roof is a thin, high-performance multifoil insulation product that ingeniously combines dual properties: it acts as both a breathable membrane and an insulator. Designed for installation on the 'cold side' of the building fabric in roofs and walls, it offers exceptional thermal performance, typically with a thermal resistance (R-value) of 1.35 m²K/W (core) or up to 2.40 m²K/W when installed with two 20mm air voids. This hybrid design significantly simplifies the installation process by reducing the number of steps required, whilst also allowing for a thinner main insulation to achieve the desired U-value. It is CE marked as a roof underlayment and rainscreen, confirming its suitability for various applications across all UK wind zones. The product is intrinsically waterproof and airtight, yet maintains water vapour permeability to prevent the risk of condensation.
