38mm Hardie Plank Aluminium Starter Profile with Ventilation ensures the proper start of the installation of Hardie Plank composite siding. It is designed to provide the correct starting angle for the first cladding siding. This 38mm starter profile is manufactured to suit 38mm battens. There should be an air inlet and air outlet gap at the base and at the roofline, above doors and windows. Using a perforated profile to cover the gap helps to prevent pests entering through it.
