50mm SIGA Nail Sealing Tape - Rainproof Sealing of Nail Penetrations - 30m roll - Box of 10

Pack Quantity: 10

50mm SIGA Nail Sealing Tape is a high‑performance exterior sealing tape designed to create nail‑tight, wind‑tight and rain‑tight connections under counter‑battens on pitched roofs. It protects roof membranes from water ingress at fixing points and ensures long‑term weather resistance in modern roof assemblies. SIGA Nail Sealing Tape is a single‑sided, diffusion‑open sealing tape engineered specifically for sealing nail and screw penetrations when installing counter‑battens over roof underlays such as Majcoat membranes.

When applied beneath battens, the tape forms a flexible, watertight gasket around each fixing, preventing driving rain, meltwater, and wind pressure from penetrating the roof build‑up. Its high‑performance acrylic adhesive bonds securely to diffusion‑open membranes and timber, ensuring reliable long‑term performance. The tape remains UV‑stable, weather‑resistant, and flexible, even in cold temperatures, making it suitable for year‑round installation.

CHARACTERISTICS

  • Nail‑tight sealing - protects roof membranes from water ingress at fixing points.
  • Strong acrylic adhesive - reliable bonding to membranes and timber.
  • Diffusion‑open - allows vapour to escape safely.
  • Wind‑tight and rain‑tight - maintains insulation performance and prevents moisture entry.
  • Flexible backing - adapts to uneven timber surfaces.
  • Exterior‑grade durability - UV‑stable and weather‑resistant.
  • Compatible with SIGA roof membranes - ideal for Majcoat systems.

APPLICATION

  • Nail‑tight sealing under counter‑battens
  • Wind‑tight pitched roof detailing
  • Protection of roof membranes
  • Sealing screw penetrations
  • High‑exposure roof zones
