60mm EcoTherm Eco-Fix Flat Roof PIR Insulation Board is a high-performance, rigid PIR (polyisocyanurate) insulation board specifically designed for use under mechanically fixed single-ply waterproofing systems. Eco-Fix is the engineered choice for modern synthetic membranes like PVC, EPDM, or TPO. The defining feature of Eco-Fix is its glass tissue facing on both sides. This surface is designed to be compatible with a wide range of single-ply membranes and provides a stable, high-performance substrate that is both lightweight and thermally efficient.

CHARACTERISTICS

• The mineral-coated glass tissue facings are specifically chosen for their compatibility with mechanically fixed synthetic membranes. This ensures the insulation remains stable under the tension of the fixing system.
• With a thermal conductivity of 0.022 W/mK, it is one of the most efficient insulation materials available. This allows for thinner roof build-ups while still meeting the demanding U-values required by current building regulations.
• Designed to handle the mechanical stresses of both the installation process and subsequent maintenance. It typically offers a compressive strength of 150 kPa, ensuring the roof remains walkable for inspection purposes without damaging the insulation core.
• The PIR core is manufactured to be highly stable, meaning the boards will not shrink or warp over time. This maintains the integrity of the thermal envelope and prevents the formation of cold bridges at the joints.
• Despite its high strength, the boards are easy to lift and cut on-site. This significantly speeds up the installation process, especially on large-scale commercial roofs.
