60mm Marmox Fixing Dowels are specialist, high-strength plastic anchors designed primarily for the mechanical fastening of Marmox Multiboard Boards and other construction boards to solid masonry substrates. The system is a two-part fixing, comprising a plastic dowel body with a wide, 50mm diameter head, and a separate plastic fixing pin. The dowel is secured into a pre-drilled hole in the wall by hammering the fixing pin into the centre of the dowel body, which causes the dowel to expand and lock firmly into the substrate.

CHARACTERISTICS

• Manufactured from high-strength plastic, ensuring the dowels are entirely corrosion-resistant, which is crucial for stability in wet areas like bathrooms and wet rooms.
• They can be used on their own for fixing boards to a flat wall surface, or more commonly, they are used in conjunction with tile adhesive when employing the 'dot and dab' method on uneven walls.
• Provides excellent pull-out and shear performance, offering a fast, reliable, and secure method for professional-standard construction.
