CHARACTERISTICS

  • Homogeneous fibre-cement with a cementitious appearance
  • Performs reliably in extreme climates; resistant to rot and fungal growth
  • Non-combustible with excellent fire behaviour values
  • Impact-resistant, dimensionally stable, and long-lasting
  • Can be left untreated or coated with diffusion-open masonry or concrete paint
  • Low-maintenance surface that does not require repainting over time
  • Classified as non-combustible, typically under Euroclass A2-s1, d0 depending on installation and substrate

APPLICATION

Ideal for use in:

  • High-performance cladding systems
  • Interior wall linings in moisture-prone or high-traffic areas
  • Substrates for ventilated façades
  • Design-led architectural features requiring a raw, industrial look

INSTALLATION

Substructure Compatibility

  • Aluminium or Steel Subframe: Use rivets or facade screws depending on substrate type.
  • Timber Subframe: Use Swisspearl Wing Screws; no pre-drilling required.

Fixing Method

  • Fixed Point: Secures the panel and prevents movement.
  • Sliding Points: Allow for thermal expansion; placed in pre-drilled holes with larger diameter.

Fastener Distances:

  • Minimum 20mm from panel edge
  • Minimum 60mm from corner
  • Spacing depends on wind load and panel size.

Panel Layout & Jointing

  • Maintain open joints for rear ventilation
  • Use vertical battens for support
  • Allow for building dilatation and movement
  • Ensure ventilation cavity behind panels (min. 20mm)
  • Use diamond-tipped tools or fibre-cement blades
  • Seal cut edges if exposed to moisture
  • Avoid damaging the panel surface during handling
