85mm Dufaylite Residential Clayboard Void Former - single board

85mm Dufaylite Residential Clayboard Void Former is a specially designed board consisting of a lightweight, eco-friendly and biodegradable core covered with polypropylene facings. The product is designed to prevent the common problem of expansion and shrinkage of clay soil when it is exposed to the water level changes which can seriously damage the stability of the structure built above. This can be prevented by creating a void that can accommodate clay expansion. Basically, the honeycomb core of the clayboard will degrade when exposed to water once the concrete has set. Although lightweight, the board can bear significant loads imposed, including steel reinforcement and wet concrete. The boards a re safe to handle and install and pose no threat for human health when handled properly, since they will not emit any harmful emissions or dust. It is applicable to various residential projects, being a very cost-effective solution, but also extremely environmentally friendly due to its biodegradable and recyclable content of both the core and the facings.
