90mm SOPRATHERM GA4000 is a high-performance, rigid polyisocyanurate (PIR) insulation board. It is designed for use in multiple areas of the building envelope, providing a reliable thermal barrier for floors, walls, and roofs. SOPRATHERM GA4000 is the go-to general-purpose insulation board for a wide variety of applications, offering high thermal performance in a lightweight and rigid format.

CHARACTERISTICS

• This is the multi-rounder of the range. Unlike the specialist cavity or reveal boards, GA4000 is intended for use in many different structural elements.
• With a lambda value of 0.022 W/mK, it is one of the most efficient mass-produced insulation materials available. This allows for thinner constructions while still meeting strict building regulations.
• The board is faced on both sides with high-quality aluminium foil. This reflects heat back into the building and significantly enhances the thermal resistance of any adjacent unventilated air spaces.
• It is strong enough to be used in floor applications under a screed or a floating floor, where it can withstand the typical loads of a residential or commercial building.

APPLICATION

• Ground Floors: Installed either below a concrete floor slab, under a screed, or between timber floor joists.
• Pitched Roofs: Placed between or over rafters to create a warm roof space or loft conversion.
• Flat Roofs: Used below the waterproofing layer in a variety of flat roof systems.
• Timber Frame Walls: Fitted between the timber studs to provide high-performance wall insulation.
