9mm Swisspearl Windstopper Basic is a specialised building board featuring an integrated windproof membrane for exterior wall applications. Designed to protect the building envelope during construction and beyond, it combines robust weather resistance with vapour permeability to support healthy wall assemblies. It acts as a temporary weather barrier behind ventilated façades, offering robust protection while allowing vapour diffusion.

CHARACTERISTICS

  • Cement-bonded fibre board with a natural grey finish
  • Prevents wind-driven rain and air infiltration behind cladding
  • Vapour-permeable to support healthy wall construction
  • Non-combustible; suitable for use in fire-rated assemblies
  • Resistant to impact, rot, and fungal growth
  • No surface treatment required; can be left exposed for up to 6 months during construction
  • Compatible with Swisspearl façade panels and insulation systems

APPLICATION

INSTALLATION

  • Fix directly to subframe using corrosion-resistant screws or staples
  • Joints may be left open or sealed depending on system requirements
