They also improve strength. They can be used in interior and exterior rendering, as base coats and as a filler. There are special products with mineral fillers that\s used to plaster external walls, insulated walls and can also be used as deep fillers.

Gypsum based bagged products

High grade gypsum is used as a filler in plastics, paint, adhesives and tile grouts. Gypsum is an important component in cement manufacture. Cement contains around 5% to 7% gypsum which controls the setting time of concrete. Gypsum is the sole raw material required to make plaster. It is suitable for plaster manufacture after leaching. The gypsum lath and plaster systems have long been considered the industry standard in wall construction. These plaster systems provide smooth, high quality wall surfaces, regardless of framing alignment and deliver exceptional beauty and durability in interior partitions and non-load bearing exterior walls. When used with expanded metal lath, gypsum plasters create a mechanical bond for maximum strength and durability.

Benefits
