Erfurt MAV Paste The Wall is a professional quality paintable wall lining paper that provides a degree of surface reinforcement, covers small cracks and defects. It can be painted or covered with decorative wallpapers. Manufactured from paper of well managed sources. If preferred, the paper can be hung horizontally.

INSTALLATION

• Cut all lengths required, allowing extra for trimming at each end.
• If hanging from the roll:
  • Place the roll on the floor.
  • Pull out the roll and apply the inner surface to the wall.
• Draw a straight pencil line or use a plumb line to guide the hanging of the first length.
  • The paper can be hung horizontally if preferred.
• If applying the adhesive directly to the surface:
  • Apply enough to hang two lengths at a time.
  • Ensure the paste exceeds the width of the second length.
• If pasting the material (on either side):
  • Make sure all edges are covered.
• With both methods:
  • Hang the roll immediately—no soaking is required.
• Apply the first length along the guideline and smooth it out with a wallpaper brush, then trim the ends.
• Butt join all subsequent lengths, being careful not to overlap the edges.
• Allow the wall liner to dry thoroughly before decorating with emulsion paint (normally, 24 hours is sufficient).
