EWI-333 Silicone Silicate Top Coat Primer - 20kg

EWI-333 Silicone Silicate Primer is a deep penetrating primer. It is specifically designed for the final preparation of surfaces before applying silicone renders, reducing the absorptive capacity of the substrate and creating a strong artificial key for better adhesion. Its formulation includes potassium water glass and water dispersion of silicon resin, which helps strengthen the substrate and limit absorption, ensuring a durable and effective base for subsequent coatings. It is formulated with potassium water glass and water dispersion of silicon resin, making it suitable for preparing substrates before applying silicone and silicone silicate renders. This composition helps strengthen the substrate and create an effective base for subsequent coatings.

APPLICATION

• All substrates must be stable, even and clean.
• Remove all unstable (dull sounding) plaster from the substrate.
• All uneven surfaces should be levelled out using the EWI-260 Levelling Mortar.
• Mix the contents thoroughly before use.
• Do not dilute with water or any other product.
• Apply using a brush or roller.
• The primed surface is allowed to dry for 24 hours.
  
• Work must not be carried out during rain or snow, in strong winds and in direct sunlight without special protection to limit exposure to weather conditions.
  
• Recently rendered coats must be protected against rain, frost and over-rapid drying.
