Hush Acoustic & Intumescent Sealant - 900ml is a multi-functional sealant specifically developed to provide both superior sound insulation and critical fire resistance in building constructions. When exposed to heat during a fire, it will intumesce, meaning it expands significantly to create a dense, protective char. This char effectively seals off gaps and penetrations, preventing the passage of fire, smoke, and hot gases for a specified duration, often providing up to 5 hours of fire resistance.
