Kubala Stainless Steel Notched Trowel - 130mm x 270mm - Notch 12mm x 12mm is a specialised tool used in tiling and plastering with an ergonomic open handle for comfort. It has high quality stainless steel blade with notches for easy spreading of adhesive mortar.

CHARACTERISTICS

How to use

  • Hold the notched trowel at a slight angle (usually around 45 degrees) to the surface.
  • Spread the adhesive evenly over a small area (about one square meter) using the flat side of the trowel.
  • Flip the trowel over to the notched side.
  • Press the notched edge into the adhesive, creating uniform ridges.
  • The size of the notches determines the amount of adhesive applied.
  • Place the tiles onto the adhesive, pressing them firmly into the ridges.
  • Wiggle the tiles slightly to ensure good contact.
