INSTALLATION

• Ensure the area where you will be installing the insulation is clean and free of debris.
• Check for any existing moisture issues or damage that may need to be addressed before installation.
• If you need to adjust the size of the Rockwool RollBatt, use a utility knife or insulation saw to cut it to the required dimensions. Ensure the cuts are straight for a snug fit.
• Begin placing the insulation between the rafters, joists, or studs. Ensure that the insulation fits tightly without any gaps, as this will enhance its thermal and acoustic performance.
• For roofs and ceilings, place the insulation with the facing side (if applicable) facing downwards towards the living space.
• Inspect the installation for any gaps or spaces where air could escape. Fill any gaps with additional insulation or use insulation tape to seal them.
• If installing in a loft or ceiling, ensure that any necessary vapour barriers or coverings are applied over the insulation as per building regulations.
• Clean up any debris from the installation process.
• Always wear safety goggles, gloves, and a dust mask if you are sensitive to dust or fibres during installation.
• Follow any specific manufacturer instructions that come with the Rockwool RollBatt for best results.
• Ensure proper ventilation in the area during installation to avoid any build-up of dust or fumes.
