CHARACTERISTICS

• Cement‑bonded particle board
• Tongue and groove edges allow rapid fitting and a tight, stable joint
• A2 Reaction to Fire, classified as limited combustibility under BS EN 13501‑1
• Will not rot or degrade when exposed to damp conditions, ensuring long‑term durability

APPLICATION

INSTALLATION

• Ensure joists or supports are level, correctly spaced, and capable of carrying the intended loads.
• Boards may be cut using standard woodworking tools fitted with tungsten‑carbide tipped blades.
• Lay boards with the long edge across the joists.
• Engage tongue and groove edges fully; tap lightly into place to achieve a tight fit.
• Leave a perimeter gap (typically 10 mm) at walls or abutments to allow for movement.
• Stagger joints between rows to avoid continuous lines of weakness.
• Use appropriate screws for cement‑bonded particle boards (e.g. corrosion‑resistant wood screws or specialist board screws).
• Fix at 300 mm centres along joists and 15 mm from board edges.
• Ensure screw heads are flush with or just below the board surface.
• Boards are heavy; use mechanical assistance or team lifting where necessary.
• Wear dust masks and eye protection when cutting.

CERTIFICATION

• Conformity assessed for structural use in floors and decking (CE & UKCA) to BS EN 13986
• Limited combustibility: A2 according to BS EN 13501-1
