290ml Cordek Joint & Stick Adhesive a high‑performance MS Polymer adhesive and joint sealant designed specifically for bonding Cordek Filcor (EPS) to a wide range of common construction materials. It is also used for jointing, sealing, and assembling Cordek formwork systems, providing a durable, flexible, and waterproof bond suitable for both site and factory applications.

CHARACTERISTICS

• Strong, durable bond for Filcor (EPS) and most construction substrates.
• Flexible and waterproof, suitable for demanding site conditions.
• Single‑component MS Polymer formulation, ready to use, no mixing required.
• Resistant to temperatures from –40°C to +100°C once cured.
• Bonds in wet conditions (though final strength may be reduced).
• Approximate curing rate: 3mm per 24 hours at 23°C / 50% RH.
• Applied using a standard cartridge gun for straightforward installation.
• Ideal for sealing butt joints in Cordek formwork systems.

APPLICATION

• Bonding Cordek Filcor (EPS) to concrete, timber, metals, and other common substrates.
• Jointing and sealing Cordek formwork sections on site.
• Providing a continuous, sealed connection between adjacent formwork units.
• Fixing and assembling bespoke Cordek formwork with factory‑prepared joint details.

INSTALLATION

• Surfaces must be clean, dry, and free from dust, grease, or contaminants.
• Apply adhesive in a wavy bead or comb out for full‑surface bonding.
• Maintain a 1–2mm bond line -- do not compress to zero.
• Smooth joints using a sealant applicator dipped in soapy water.
• Suitable for application at +8°C to +30°C.

Note:

• Not suitable for polypropylene, polyethylene, polythene, or Teflon.
• Avoid contact with oils, plasticisers, bitumen, asphalt, silicone, and similar materials.
• Do not allow solvents or organic cleaners to contact Filcor (EPS).
• Tools can be cleaned with MEK or acetone before curing.
