52mm Hush Panel Premier 52 is a high-performance acoustic flooring panel designed to provide excellent reduction of both airborne and impact sound in buildings requiring superior sound insulation. The panel consists of a moisture-resistant 22mm chipboard bonded to a 30mm resilient layer of specially engineered open-cell polyurethane foam. This panel is ideal for use in separating floor constructions within refurbishment and new build projects, particularly where enhanced acoustic performance is essential. It is commonly specified in residential developments, hotels, schools, and healthcare environments where compliance with Building Regulations Part E is required. The foam layer acts as an effective decoupling element, isolating floor finishes from the substructure and significantly reducing sound transmission. Hush Panel Premier 52 can be laid over existing floor decks or as part of a full acoustic flooring system. It is compatible with a wide range of floor finishes, including carpet, laminate, engineered wood, and tiles (with appropriate overlays), and is suitable for use with underfloor heating systems when correctly installed.
