INSTALLATION

• For a clean edge without power tools, use the score and snap method with a dedicated fibre cement knife. If using a circular saw, a dust extraction system must be employed to manage cement particles.
• Always bond the boards to the substrate using a cement-based flexible tile adhesive. This ensures a full-contact bond and eliminates any voids.
• Secure the boards to timber floors using 25mm cement board fixings at 250mm centres. This tight fixing pattern is essential for eliminating the bounce (deflection) that causes grout to crack.
• To prevent crack propagation, all board joints should be reinforced with alkali-resistant mesh tape before the final finish is applied.
