85mm Earthwool Timber Frame Party Wall Slab is a lightweight, flexible and non-combustible glass mineral wool slab, which is used as a full fill thermal and acoustic solution in timber frame party cavity walls between adjoining apartments, semi-detached and terraced houses. 

These slabs are made with Knauf ECOSE Technology has a formaldehyde-free binder, which is up to 70% less energy intensive than traditional binders and is made from rapidly renewable bio-based materials instead of petroleum-based chemicals. Insulation products made with ECOSE Technology contain no dye or artificial colours the colour is completely natural.
 
APPLICATION
 
Earthwool Timber Frame Party Wall Slabs are used for the thermal and acoustic insulation of timber frame party wall cavities and are friction fitted between the timber frames, the product can be used as part of a full fill solution to achieve a zero effective U-value within SAP 2009
 
85mm Earthwool Timber Frame Party Wall Slab characteristics:
  • Odourless, rot proof, non-hygroscopic, does not sustain vermin and will not encourage the growth of fungi, mould or bacteria
  • Has negligible resistance to the passage of water vapour and has a water vapour resistivity of 5.00 MNs/g.m
  • Is environment-friendly and has zero Ozone Depletion Potential and zero Global Warming Potential
  • Excellent acoustical characteristics
  • Contains a water repellent additive
  • Easy to handle and install with no gaps between adjacent slabs
  • Lightweight
  • Easily cut to size
  • Supplied in polythene packs

Earthwool Timber Frame Party Wall Slab is manufactured in accordance with BS EN 13162, ISO 50001 Energy Management Systems, OHSAS 18001 Occupational Health and Safety Management Systems, ISO 14001 Environmental Management Systems, and ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems, as certified by Bureau Veritas.
