85mm Screwed-in Helical Fastener WK-DS is for fixing lightweight non-structural components (max. 5 kg/piece) on polystyrene insulation, for example, fixing elements such as signboards, building numbers, mailboxes, lighting fixtures, motion sensors, etc. They are made from high-quality polyamide and ensure resistance to changing weather conditions and eliminate thermal bridges. It can be screwed in before adhesive and reinforcing mesh are applied, or after.

CHARACTERISTICS
  • Max fixing non-structural components (max. 5 kg/piece),
  • Plate diameter - 28mm,
  • Use 4.5mm screw to fix.


METHOD OF INSTALLATION

1. Before installation on the façade mark installation spots for fasteners

2. It is recommended to follow two methods installation:

- screw in the fastener in thermal insulation layer before adhesive and reinforcing mesh are applied

- drill holes in the layer of applied adhesive and reinforcing mesh and the plaster using drill bit for work in concrete, and then screw in

the fastener in the thermal insulation layer

3. Screw in the fastener using screw gun and TORX-30 bit

4. In the fastener as installed, screw in screw Ø 4.5mm (not supplied) to fix the element on the façade
