DuPont Tyvek UV Facade Protective Membrane is a lightweight, durable protective membrane designed for protection of ventilated and open rainscreen cladding systems, providing an additional protective layer from moisture, wind and UV rays. Although open cladding constructions may be aesthetically pleasing, they also include some additional considerations in regard to the overall protection from the natural elements. Although installed breather membranes may offer a level of protection, they are usually not enough in fighting strong winds, heat and high moisture content. This is why DuPont has developed an advanced, lifelong, effective facade system that offers substantial moisture, wind and UV protection for your open cladding system, containing its performance and protection properties when exposed to high levels of heat and UV radiation. The facade is added to the exterior cladding (metal, stone or timber), should be covered with proper insulation material, inner lining and plasterboard for a complete result and effectiveness.

APPLICATION

Tyvek UV Facade Protective Breather Membrane is used for open rainscreen cladding protection (metal, stone or timber) from wind, moisture and UV radiation.
