Novia UV Facade FR Roof and Wall Breather Membrane - 1.5m x 50m Roll

Novia VariCheck FR is a Class B flame-resistant, variable vapour check barrier. It's specifically designed as an internal Air & Vapour Control Layer (AVCL), complying with BS EN 13984 and carrying a CE mark. This material meets the EN 13501-1 Fire Classification B-s1,d0 standard and is fit for use in insulated walls or roofs where minimal moisture vapour resistance is essential. It also performs well in floor applications that do not require a fire rating. Its permeability adjusts with seasonal humidity, being less permeable in the colder months and more in warmer periods. The product is available in 1.5m x 50m rolls and features a milky white colour, with 150mm overlap lines marked.

INSTALLATION

To walls

• Ensure the surface is clean and dry.
• Cut the membrane to size, allowing for overlap at joints.
• Fix the membrane to the wall structure, using suitable adhesive or mechanical fixings.
• Overlap adjacent sheets by at least 100mm.
• Seal all overlaps and edges with suitable tape to ensure continuity.
