Redshield Cavity Barrier Rebated - 130/160mm is an all-in-one solution designed to meet the fire safety, thermal insulation, and damp-proofing requirements of modern cavity wall construction. Suitable for cavity widths between 130mm and 160mm, this product offers a streamlined approach to compliance with Approved Document B, without the need for additional linings or complex detailing. Mineral fibre wool insulating core delivers 30 minutes’ fire integrity and 15 minutes’ insulation, meeting the requirements for cavity barriers.

CHARACTERISTICS

• Suitable for cavity widths between 130mm and 160mm
• Acts as a fire barrier, thermal cavity closer, and damp-proof course (DPC)
• Exceeds the mandatory 30 minutes’ integrity and 15 minutes’ insulation requirements
• Incorporates mineral fibre wool insulation with a K-value of 0.039 W/mK
• Made from extruded PVCu with a mineral wool core
• Supplied in 2400mm lengths, with 3 lengths per pack
