STEICOmulti Tape F is a premium, single-sided adhesive tape designed for the permanent, airtight, and weather-tight sealing of junctions. Unlike standard paper tapes, it features a specialised UV-stabilised film reinforced with a polyester lattice, making it the heavy-duty choice for both internal and external sealing.

CHARCTERISTICS

• The UV-stabilised special film contains an integrated polyester lattice. This reinforcement provides exceptional dimensional stability and tear resistance, ensuring the tape does not over-stretch or thin out during application.
• It is remarkably hardy, capable of being processed in temperatures as low as -10°C (provided the surface is dry and ice-free) and maintaining its bond in temperatures ranging from -40°C to +100°C.
• Engineered for longevity, it offers 12 months of UV resistance. This makes it ideal for sealing external building envelopes that may be exposed to the elements for extended periods during construction.
• Available with various perforations (e.g., 20/40, 50/50, or 75/75), the split liner is a critical feature for forming perfect, tension-free corner bonds and window frame connections.
• The solvent-free acrylic dispersion adhesive is designed to handle high moisture levels and is rainproof, providing a reliable seal in the unpredictable British climate.

APPLICATION

• Airtight Sealing: Permanent sealing of overlaps in STEICO membranes (like Membra 5, Renova, or UDB).
• Corner & Window Details: The split liner makes it the go-to tape for sealing window frames to reveal boards and managing internal/external wall corners.
• External Board Joints: Used on wood-fibre boards (Universal, Protect, etc.) to ensure a wind-tight and watertight envelope.
• Roofing Details: Suitable for use on roofs with a minimum pitch of 10°.
