250mm Rockwool Frontrock Super is a high‑performance, mineral‑wool board designed specifically for external wall insulation (EWI) systems. It combines two distinct density layers in a single panel to deliver both excellent thermal performance and robust structural support. The core of the slab is a low‑density, highly porous layer that provides outstanding thermal resistance (low λ‑value), while the outer surface is a higher‑density, tougher layer that resists impact, moisture ingress, and mechanical stress during installation and service life. As a mineral‑wool product, Frontrock Super Dual Density is non‑combustible, classified as Euroclass A1, and helps meet stringent fire‑rating requirements for façade systems. The material is vapour‑permeable, enabling the wall assembly to “breathe” and reducing the risk of trapped moisture that could lead to condensation or mould. Its dense outer skin also acts as a water‑repellent barrier, protecting the insulation core from liquid water penetration.
