57.5mm Celotex PL4045 is a high-performance thermal insulation board with PIR insulation bonded to 12.5mm tapered edge plasterboard. It is made from rigid polyisocyanurate (PIR) using blowing agents that have zero ozone depletion potential (zero ODP) and low global warming potential (GWP).

Note: Also known as PL3045 from January 2018.

Application

Celotex PL4045 is designed for providing thermal insulation and plasterboard as a single product. It can be specified for various applications, including:

  • The underlayer of insulation between and under rafter and joist applications
  • Solid masonry walls
  • Timber frame lining applications

Features of 57.5mm Celotex PL4045

  • Suitable for both direct bonding (dot and dab) and mechanically fixed installation techniques

Certification

  • Celotex PL4045 is CFC/HCFC-free with zero ozone depletion potential (ODP) and low global warming potential (GWP)
  • Manufactured in accordance with quality management systems BS EN ISO 9001:2000 by Celotex Limited
  • All products must be installed following instructions issued by Celotex Limited
  • Celotex PIR insulation is independently assessed by BRE Global and accredited with an A+ rating compared to the BRE Green Guide 2008
