Hush Fill 60 - High-Density Granular Mineral Filler - 25kg bag

Hush Fill 60 Heavy Pugging is a granular mineral filler designed for sound insulation between timber floor joists. It is engineered to achieve a regulated density of 80 kg/m² at a 60 mm thickness, in compliance with UK Building Regulations for supporting airborne sound reduction in separating floors. It is supplied in sealed polythene tubes filled with 2–10 mm mineral granules—each tube weighs approximately 25 kg and covers about 0.31 m² at the correct depth, making accurate and tidy installation simple. These tubes also function as the required vapour/lining barrier beneath the fill.

Coverage: 3.2 tubes per m² at 60mm depth

CHARACTERISTICS

• Composition: 2–10mm dry mineral granules.
• Ideal for refurbishment projects, especially where maintaining existing ceilings (e.g. lath & plaster) is important.
• Fully compatible with Hush acoustic floor systems and exceeds UK Building Regulations (Part E, Section 5 and Part G).
